Contact angle measurement of mobile phone film before and after friction

The use of mobile phone tempered film is more and more common, and it is a must for mobile phones. However, the quality of mobile phone tempered film on the market is uneven. What kind of tempered film is of good quality?

For the actual use of tempered film, one thing is very important: how is the anti-fingerprint effect after long-term use? How is the wear resistance?

Evaluation Criteria

Wear-resistant effect, anti-fingerprint effect after long-term use, use the friction machine test, and then measure the water drop angle. The principle of the anti-friction machine is that the surface of the tempered film is continuously rubbed mechanically and electrically. After a long time of friction, the surface of the tempered film is worn out, and then it is evaluated with a water drop angle tester. The larger the angle, the better the friction resistance effect.

Test Results
Initial water drop angle measurement: The picture on the left shows the measurement data of the initial water drop angle of the mobile phone film: According to the mobile phone film industry standard, when the initial contact angle is greater than or equal to 110°, it is considered a qualified mobile phone film.

Water drop angle measurement after friction: the experimental standard is load: 1000g, friction times: 2000 times, rubbing head: 1×1 (cm), test speed: 60 times/min, friction stroke: 40mm. After rubbing, the SDC-200S contact angle measuring instrument was used to measure the water drop angle of the tempered film. The experimental conditions were the same as before the rubbing. The picture on the right shows the test report and picture of the water drop angle after the mobile phone film is rubbed. The angle after rubbing is slightly changed from the initial angle, but still meets the requirements.
