From December 10th to 11th, the 2021 Gaogong LED Display and Lighting Annual Conference and Gaogong Golden Globe Award Ceremony were grandly held at Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport.


On the evening of December 11, the 2021 Golden Globe Awards Ceremony for Advanced Engineering was kicked off. Hundreds of guests from upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises in the LED industry chain gathered together to celebrate the grand ceremony. SindinPrecision was awarded the "High-tech Golden Globe Award-2021 Fast-growing Enterprise".


On the afternoon of December 10, Mr. Chen of Shengding Precision delivered a speech themed "PLASMA New Opportunities" at the Mini/Micro LED special session, leading the guests to enter the mysterious "PLASMA universe".

"The solid state turns into liquid after heat absorption, the liquid turns into gas after heat absorption, and the gaseous state turns into plasma after heat absorption, that is, PLASMA. It is said that 99% of the matter in the universe is in the form of PLASMA." Mr. Chen briefly introduced what is PLASMA.


On this basis, Sindin precise surface treatment technology is formed on the principle of hydrogen ion reduction, oxygen ion burning, and argon ion sputtering.


In the LED field, oxides and particle contamination on the surface of the device during the packaging process will reduce the reliability of the product and affect the quality of the product. For example, in the process of epoxy resin injection for LEDs, pollutants will lead to a high rate of bubble formation, resulting in low product quality and service life. Therefore, avoiding the formation of bubbles during the sealing process is also a concern.


In response to this, Mr. Chen said, "The vacuum plasma cleaning machine produced by Sindin Precision can easily remove molecular-level pollution during use, and at the same time ensure close contact between polymer materials and adhere to the surface of the workpiece. At the same time, plasma cleaning technology is an environmental protection. It also has relatively low operating costs, which are its advantages.”


Facing the rising Mini/Micro LED market, Mr. Chen introduced three models of Shengding Precision, namely online atmospheric plasma, online wide-width plasma, and chip vacuum plasma.


In this regard, Mr. Chen expressed very high expectations for the future market. "Due to the Mini/Micro LED, the entire process has higher and higher requirements for equipment manufacturers. For example, the cleaning of substrates will vary from company to company. In addition to the cleaning of the PCB surface, glass substrates are also required."


Based on this, plasma has more application scenarios in traditional LED displays. At the same time, this technology is also perfectly adapted to the dispensing process. The future market potential will be very large, and it is not limited to the LED industry.


Regarding the degumming link in Mini/Micro LED, Mr. Chen said, "Although different companies use different methods, the plasma degumming technology has very high advantages and technological maturity. Although imported equipment currently occupies De-glue the wafer surface, but this is also an opportunity for Sindin Precision, and it will also be stimulated in higher markets in the future.”


At the end of the speech, Mr. Chen said in one sentence, "Sindin Precision's products are not like solder paste, glue dispensing or spectroscopic. This is a just-needed equipment. We focus on the surface, but not only the surface."
