The traditional structure of photovoltaic module is: photovoltaic glass-EVA (film)-battery sheet-EVA (film)-backplane, which is wrapped by aluminum frame, and the junction board is welded to form a complete crystal silicon module. 
Photovoltaic glass and EVA film are poor conductors of electricity, and if there is static electricity, "electrostatic lines" will be produced during lamination of the photovoltaic module (as shown in the following figure), resulting in the degradation of the whole module.

Method of eliminating static electricity in the process of photovoltaic module
